There haven't been a lot of new blog posts the last few weeks for a couple of reasons: I am lazy (which is probably the biggest reason) and we moved. So we have been doing a lot of organizing, packing, moving, unpacking, and cleaning around here. We absolutely LOVE our new house. When people were bringing stuff in the house, they kept asking me where to put boxes. There were so many option of where to put them that I couldn't decide! In our old hosue it was very easy to decide where things went because there were a VERY limited number of options. But now I actually have to think about it and figure out where the best place to put them is. It is fun, but hard! :) We love all of the space we have here. In fact, in the first two days we moved in, Sadie perfected her cartwheel. It wasn't very good at all when we got here, but she has it down now. She actually has space here to practice her cartwheels...inside...without kicking anyone or anything! It is just awesome. Anyway, the kids have adjusted well. Emery so far has slept so much better in her own room. I guess she just needed her own space. And the kids love all the space they have to run around and jump and all that fun stuff.
We are still unpacking, but I am happy with what we have gotten done so far. If anyone ever wants to come visit, we would love to have you! Here is a documentation of moving day in pictures.
Inside the moving truck. The kids had a blast in there. It was so high up off of the ground that I got scared walking up the ramp. The kids didn't mind at all though.
They did a puppet show for my after the tv and everything else was out of the way. It was the best rendition of Little Bunny Foo Foo I have ever seen!
Loading up the truck. Of course it would rain that day!
I don't know why, but I thought this was hilarious. It was like the last thing in the house, and Rob and Duncan carried it out together when one of them could have easily done it themselves. Ha ha.
Sadie with her friend Kate. Sadie is always asking me to do three loops in her hair just like her friend Kate, but I always tell her I don't know how. Luckily, Kate's mom was nice enough to do Sadie's hair in three loops while she was playing over there during the truck loading time. She was in heaven!
Driving on the freeway to our new house.
We made it!
These kids were so crazy! At one point, all three of them were in there.
These last two pictures are just to make you smile. Have a great day!
Zac is always covered in dirt...in our new yard, there isn't much dirt lying around like in our old yard.(which is where this pic was taken)
I asked Emery to show me her teeth. :)
