Sadie turned five!!

Sadie had a birthday last Wednesday. She turned five years old.  That sounds so old to me!  She will start kindergarten in the fall.  She is so excited.  On her birthday I decorated the house with streamers, balloons, and tissue paper flowers.  She liked it at first...but after about ten minutes, she asked "Mom, why didn't you do more decorations?"  ha ha.  Oh well.

We went to the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving point with our friends in the morning.  The kids loved it.  Well, Zac kept asking to go home after a while saying he was scared of dinosaurs.  ha ha.  Silly boy!  For the rest of the day we just hung out and in the evening we invited Alan and Crys over for cake and ice cream.  It was a fun night.  Sadie loved all of her presents.  Thanks to everyone who wished her a happy birthday!

Here are some of the decorations.  I enlisted Rob's help for the streamers and balloons.

 More decorations.

She got a tea set which the kids played with all day long.  They would ask me for "more tea madam"  haha.  So funny.

Because it was her birthday, they people at the museum gave her this mask.  She wore it the entire time we were there except at the very end in the sand pit.  haha so cute.

Her friends made her this cute cake.  She loved it.

This was near the end of the museum.  Zac was scared of the dinosaurs at this point so he was ready to go home.

Here we are chatting with Grandma and Grandpa and the rest of my family.  Sadie said because she got to blow out ten candles on her birthday, she was ten years old.

Here is a closeup of her cake.  Five years old.

She likes to play with her new castle up on her bed so that Emery and Zac will let her play in peace.  ha ha.

Sadie is such a sweetheart.  She is always looking out for her younger siblings (sometimes a little too much).  She loves her dance class and loves to perform in the recitals.  She doesn't get nervous or anything.  She loves the attention.  She is learning how to read and loves doing any kind of preschool activity.  We love our sweet Sadie girl.
