Holly's Wedding!

So my friend Holly got married on Saturday. She looked so gorgeous. It was fun because all of the former roommates got to be together and talk about old times. Marissa got back from her mission so we were all excited to see her!

Anyway, the day started out not so great when we went to leave for bountiful and noticed that our tire was completely flat! We didn't think we had a jack so we were really bummed and trying to call everyone and anyone that could help us out. We didn't get a hold of anyone, but luckily Rob found a jack in our trunk and proceeded to put the spare tire on. Of course, the spare was flat too. So we drove really slowly to the tire place just down the road from our house and they changed our tires for us in about 20 minutes. Great service. So then we got on the road...we were too late to get to the sealing, but we were hoping to make it before they walked out of the temple. Luckily we made it before they came out. I got to see all my friends and it was a fun time.

Here are some fun pictures...

I need to get to work!

So most of my friends are graduating this weekend...I should be, but I was a slacker and didn't start my online classes as early as I wanted to. I keep putting them off and putting them off until last week I realized that I only have like 3 months to finish them. So I'm trying to work on them every day...which is kind of difficult when Sadie doesn't want to take a nap. he he. It will be good though. I am so excited to be done with school and seeing all of my friends finishing this week is kind of helping me to get excited about these classes of mine.

In other news...we bought a lawn mower this last weekend because our lawn really needed to be mowed. Rob was really excited about getting to work so he set up the mower and mowed the lawn on Saturday morning. When he was done, he was completely COVERED in dirt. It was really funny. Our lawn looks great now though and tonight we are going to plant our garden. I am so excited...we are trying lots of different things this year because we have never had a garden before. We are planting sunflowers, tomatoes, radishes, carrots, squash, corn and some herbs. :) Yay for gardens. I also got my haircut this weekend. It is pretty short, and I am still getting used to it, but I like it. I will probably just grow it out again, but its fun for a change.

Last night Sadie did such a good job sleeping. She slept from 9pm to 4am. Then went right back to sleep after I fed her until 7. It was great! Ahhh...sleep is so good.

Yesterday at church we got to teach our Primary class. There were four kids and they were so awesome! They were so well behaved compared to the rest of the primary and they are really smart. They must have great parents that teach them lots and lots. But we are really excited about this primary calling except that it means that we won't be able to meet people in relief society or priesthood. Oh well.

Here is Rob mowing the lawn...so manly

Sadie being cute and sticking out her tongue. She tries to copy us when we stick our tongues out.

I caught her playing with her toy today...it was hilarious because she would hold it really close to her face and try to look at it and her eyes would be crossed. I don't know if you can tell in the picture, but it was so cute.

Sadie in her cute Sunday dress.

Tummy time...she is so close to rolling over. She hates tummy time.

This is the throne that Sadie sits on while Rob and I work out. She just sits there and watches us and occasionally starts falling over, but we are right there to catch her!

Pregnant Pictures!

So I was looking through my pictures this morning and I had forgotten how HUGE I was. It's crazy to think back to when I was pregnant and how hard it was to bend over and even just walking was difficult. Now I can pretty much do anything except fit into my old jeans...just kidding. But there are a few pairs that I'm afraid I will never be able to fit into again. So here are a few pictures of me...the first one I am almost 20 weeks, the second one I think I am 7 months and the last one I am 41 weeks.

Anyway...this weekend I am going to get a much needed massage with the giftcard my lovely roomates gave to me at my baby shower. I am so excited! Rob is busy with work, but we still manage to spend time as a family. its so great having Sadie in the house. WE love it. She is sleeping so well these days. Last night she slept from 8 to 3:15. She is the best. She doesnt cry anymore and she takes three long naps during the day. She is a happy baby!

Lots of firsts...

So this week has been kinda hard on Rob and I...mainly because last night we started the "let cry" method to help sadie sleep for longer periods of time consecutively. It was so hard for me to listen to her cry and cry and cry because I knew that if i just got up and fed her she would be happy. But I guess she has to learn sometime. She went to sleep at around 11:30 after she ate, and woke up like normal three hours later at 2:30. She cried for two hours! All of our friends were like "oh don't worry, the first night they only cry for like 45 minutes..." so i was kinda freaking out. But she finally went to sleep, but kept waking up after like 20 minutes. I finally went and fed her at 6:30 am. Man that was really hard. I hope that tonight she does better because I don't know how much more I can handle.

Last weekend, our friends took us out to eat at this amazing chinese buffet. It was soooo good. We brought Sadie with us and just held her while we ate. She was very excited to be looking around at all the people and lights. After that, Rob and I went to a BYU softball game. It was a lot of fun and Sadie just slept right through it even with all of the loud music and cheering. It was funny. Well, we saw Cosmo walking right behind us and just had to get a picture of her with him. It was funny because he stopped and kind of looked at her and played with her a little bit so it made it easy for us to ask him to take a picture with her. He agreed. It was a fun night.

Rob and I have been working in the garden...or soon to be garden i should say. It is a blast and we are so excited to be able to have an actual garden this year. Ahh the beauty of owning your place. he he. we are going to plant all kinds of stuff...yay!

Yesterday, for dinner, we had grilled cheese sandwiches. On the side we each had a half of a pickle...and let me tell you they were SOUR! I usually love pickles, but even I couldn't handle a whole one by myself. So while I was in the kitchen after I had eaten, Rob was playing with Sadie when all of a sudden she starts SCREAMING! It took like 5 minutes to quiet her down. When I asked Rob what had happened, he said that he wanted to give Sadie a new experience, so he gently blew his pickle breath in her face. Not a ton or anything, just to see how she would react. I guess the first time she gave him a funny look, so he tried it again and that was when she lost it. It was HILARIOUS! We sat there and laughed for a good ten minutes. The joys of parenthood.

Here is Rob and Sadie just chillin on the floor.

We thought we were done with the cold weather, but I guess not. We had to put Sadie in her adorable bear suit again...

Lots of smiling these days.

Working out...

So, I really needed to start working out...I have felt really lazy since I've had the baby. I know I've been busy in the house with Sadie and everything, but I felt like I needed to start getting back into shape. So Rob and I started running in the evenings when he gets home from work. Its just a short run right now...but hopefully we can work up to longer workouts. Its really funny though because we don't have a jogging stroller, so Rob just pushes Sadie in the regular stroller. It looks really funny, but hey it works. And Sadie loves it. So far it has been a good time.

Anyway...here are some pictures of Sadie. We never get out of the house so I just am always taking pictures and videos of her. Now that she is older, hopefully we can get out more.

Sadie asleep in my arms...i love this!

Daddy daughter moment...

She is so cute! She fell asleep while Rob was burping her.

Just being silly...

Ok, so my mom made me this awesome baby sling and I love it and so does Sadie! She falls asleep in it all the time, but she also just loves chillin in there. I use it all the time. YAY
