The Big Question

So tomorrow I have my 20 week ultrasound...I have been planning all along since I found out I was pregnant to not find out the gender this time around. I already have one boy and one girl, so it would be ok not to know until d-day.

Then just in the past day or two I have been on the fence about it...I want to make some baby stuff, but if I don't know the gender, I will either have to guess, or make a boy and a girl one of whatever I'm making.

What do you guys think? Should I find out?

That's tough, especially since you want to make stuff for the baby--that's probably what would hold me back too. Although, I always thought it would be fun to have a gender surprise party/shower where when you cut the cake and if it's pink=girl and blue=boy. That way you are still surprised a little, but still have time before the baby comes to make stuff and get ready.

I vote no. You can make a boy and girl of everything, and then whatever gender you don't use you can give away as baby gifts. I'm so excited for you! Hope everything is normal and healthy on the ultrasound!

Ooh, I always thought it would be fun to not find out. But...I know myself and couldn't stand not knowing. If you can handle it, (...I'd not find out!)

Hmmmm... that IS a tough one. All I know is, 3 kids obviously take up more time than 2. So waiting til the baby is here to make stuff might mean unfinished projects but making a boy and girl version of everything seems like a lot of unnecessary work. :) Maybe you could just keep it a secret from Rob somehow, or both of you could keep it a secret from family members if you really wanted to find out. Just giving options here. Apparently from reading my own comment, I am pro-finding-out. Good luck!
