For a few years, I have been hearing about these giving machines that the church has. They are like vending machines that you can go pay for things for other people. We finally made it to see one this year. The kids all got to choose something to buy from the vending machine. We got things like soccer gear for someone in need, some books for kids who don't have any, a water pump and things like that. It was a good experience.
The sister missionaries told us about these heated benches. We had to try them out...especially because three out of five of my kids dressed in SHORTS! Zac even finished off his outfit with flip flops. Those benches were so nice!
Such a good idea. This makes it so easy to donate to those in need during the Christmas Season.
I caught Zac mid-sneeze.
Here's Rob trying to figure out how to pay for everything we got. :)
Good experience overall. Next time, maybe the kids will dress warmer.

Your kids who wore shorts look more like Phoenix natives. Crazy! And that heated bench sounds like a great feature for SLC. Maybe Phoenix needs some cooling benches?!
