Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year.  We had Crys and Alan and Juniper over and Rob's brother Duncan was in town visiting as well.  It's always more fun with more people.  And it makes me feel like all of the cooking and preparation is worth it.  :)  We had a simple meal of Turkey, stuffing, salad, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, jello fluff and rolls.  It was so yummy and we got to eat the leftovers for a few days.  (the best part!!)

It was fun chatting with the adults, but I think my favorite part was holding my niece Juniper.  She is so cute!  I have had multiple friends tell me how cute she is from pictures they have seen.  I feel pretty lucky to be her aunt.

It was pretty easy getting dinner ready because Finley was occupied practicing her newest trick...getting into all the computer stuff!!

Cute baby Juniper.  She looked so cute in her little bonnet!

My plate.  It was so yummy.  My mouth is watering just looking at this picture.

 Heaven!

Everyone relaxing while watching uncle Duncan play nintendo after we ate.  Rob always blames the tryptophan for falling asleep after Thanksgiving.

Despite what this picture shows, she actually liked wearing this cupcake hat.  She looked so cute in it too!

I'm kicking myself for not remembering to take a picture of Uncle Duncan with all the kids before he left.  The kids were already at school when he woke up in the morning.  Dang!  But I did get this great picture of him and Rob and the two girls.  We miss you Duncan!

Random

We met Baby Junie in September.  She's such a cutie!

Took Sadie to Claire's.  It was so fun.  We spent like an hour there looking at all the little trinkets they have there.  She bought a little squishy toy.  I think Emery would love it there too!

Finley has discovered that she loves baby dolls.  I had another follow up MRI.  Everything looks good.

Finley also LOVES the trampoline.  I have to constantly remind Riley to not bounce too high when she is on there with her.

Finley sucking on her toes.

Sadie is such a great big sister.  She just loves it when they will sit with her so she can read to them.  Finley doesn't always want to sit still, so it's a treat when she does.

We do a lot of shuttling kids to their activities, and Riley is great at entertaining herself and Finley in the car.

Sadie was very helpful during soccer season.  Finley just wanted to run on the field the whole time unless someone was distracting her.  Riley got wrapped up as a mummy in her preschool class.

Then the babies got to play in the toilet paper when they were done.

Sadie and her friend London got to preform a duet in their piano recital.  It was fun to hear them practicing.

General Conference

Thanks to Rob's mom and aunt, we got to take Sadie and Zac to General Conference in October.  It was a really neat experience and our seats were right up in the front where the prophet President Nelson walks out.  We were actually supposed to be split up but a nice lady told us we could just sit together.  It was amazing to be there with Sadie and Zac.  Sadie really loved it.  Zac did too but was pretty sure he might starve since we left our snacks in the car for on the way home.  What a great memory!

I think they might be real ninjas!

We took the kids to a ninja warrior kids obstacle course.  It was so fun!  I loved seeing them try and try to do things that they normally wouldn't get to.  They all got really sweaty.  It was pretty nasty.  But they all amazed me at what they could do.  I couldn't get very many pictures because they were all too blurry.  They wouldn't be bothered to slow down for a picture.  Ha ha.
Emery climbing a wall and Riley was falling backwards into that foam pit with her friend Levi.

 Then they built towers.

Sadie hung out with her friend London.  They were nice to take a break so I could get a picture.  It was a fun time.  Grandma Kevan was there with us and helped me and Rob keep an eye on all the kids.

She also got the kids these fun shirts.

Also, I think my kids might actually be ninjas.  Because I often find them like this.

Also one day Zac was climbing up the door frame.  I was in the kitchen and I heard Rob say "if you can climb up on top, then I'll give you 100 dollars."  He didn't think he could do it.  HAH!  These two sure proved him wrong and we were out 200 dollars.  We actually changed the deal a little bit to where they got 20 dollars and then we took them to activities that added up to 100 dollars.  I was shaking my head when he said that.

While they were up there I told them to dust and vacuum.  :)

Haloween

We had a fun Halloween this year.  We did the pumpkin patch, our ward trunk or treat activity, Rob's work trick or treat and trick or treating around our neighborhood.  :)  The kids got way too much candy.  We donated about half of it to their school for their candy drive.  I think we have about 3 pieces left.  The kids have been bringing it in their lunches at school.

Pumpkin patch.  Thanks to the lady who asked if we wanted a family picture and took it for us!

The corn pit...always a hit.  And then I find corn in the dryer for weeks.  Ha ha.

Finley didn't really understand why she was sitting in corn.

Some cute ghosts and a witch.

Us with our pumpkins.

Finley loved carrying hers around.

At our ward trunk or treat.  I was in charge of it so it was pretty stressful, but there was a great turnout and we survived.  And we only lost one of the kids magic wands there.  (which I later found on the grass the next morning after many tears were shed) I love my Gryffandore crew!

Riley and Finley as Yoda and Yoda.  Rob would want me to say #boycottDisneyStarWars.

Round 2 of wearing the costumes.  Rob's work.

Pretty sure that Finley is THE cutest owl in existence!

Before trick or treating around the neighborhood.

Finley was done with pictures.

The kids with their pumpkins.  Notice Zac's with a baseball stuck in it.

Baby Junie and Crys and Alan joined us that night.  It was a success.  The kids got like a million fidget spinners from one house and tons of awesome candy.

Happy Halloween!
