A Day in Salt Lake

On Tuesday, Rob had to drive up to Riverton to sign some papers to make his new job official and stuff. I had the crazy idea the night before that we could pack up the kids and go with him and when he was done continue on to Salt Lake. We don't really ever do stuff like this so it was really fun, but I was definitely worried that it would be a disaster and the kids would cry the whole time. It turned out they were great the whole time! We walked around and saw the temple, we rode trax to the mall to eat lunch, and we went to the visitor's center on Temple Square. It was a wonderful day. It is so fun to see Sadie so excited about things like the Temple and Joseph Smith. I love it!

This is such a funny picture. It was at the end of the day right before we got home. Sadie had fallen asleep in the car and woke up about 2 minutes before we got home. As you can tell, she wasn't very happy. But my favorite part is the drool action on her chin. If you click on the picture, you can see it better. Cute.

This was me and Sadie waiting for the Trax. Sadie was very excited to ride on it and she did a wonderful job!

My boys waiting for the Trax. Aren't they handsome?!?!

Sadie by the Statue of Christ in the visitor's center.

She found about 20 fire hydrants while we were in Salt Lake. A lot of them were from our walk to the temple from Rob's aunt's house. She had to touch ALL of them. :)

The people there were so nice. We had 2 or three people offer to take our picture as a family for us. It was so nice.

Sadie loved this little circle cement thing. She wanted to be in every picture I took. It was cute.

So even though it is harder to travel with two kids in tow, it was a really fun day! We were all pretty tired by the end though. I guess that is why we only do it about once a year! :)
