We love Family! And shed part two (Warning...tons of pictures)

Rob's family came out to visit for about a week while Andrew was in Basketball camp at BYU.  It was great having them around...and of course, Rob put them right to work!  :)  Well, a few months ago we decided that our next project would be to put up a shed so we can tear the garage down.  Rob thought it would be fun to build one with his dad while he was here, so his dad drew up some plans and got straight to work right when he got here.  On monday they did the cement pad and from then until minutes before they left he was pretty much working out in the hot hot sun all day long.  The kids would go out and play with him and "help" him.  It was fun to watch.  I hope he got some rest when he got home.  ha ha.  Anyway, here are some (tons) of pictures from when they were here.

 Grandpa with Emery.

Luckily on the day that the cement was going to be poured, Luke and Duncan had come down too...so they were a huge help with that!  Thanks guys!  And the kids loved having them around too!

Rob and his dad making the last preparations for the cement to be poured.

The cement truck.  The kids were in heaven with this huge truck in our backyard!

Then I went to sit down so I could watch the cement be poured and this is what happened.  Ha ha.  I was holding Emery and I completely broke the chair and fell all the way down.  Luckily Emery wasn't hurt, and neither was I.  I guess I need to start going to Zumba more often!  ha ha

Luke was a huge help...he was telling everyone how to do things because he had done this before.

All the boys were sweating...and we were eating otter pops!

 Yum

It took a few hours for the job to get done...so we were inside and outside and back inside.  Then we got smart and turned on the slip and slide.

 Cute kids.

We were having fun while the guys worked hard in the background.

The finished product.  It turned out really good...despite the fact that we didn't order enough cement to begin with and so they had to send another truck while the guys tried to keep the cement that was already down wet so it didn't harden too much.

Everyone was pooped.  But they were still pleasant to be around after they had taken showers!

Grandma with Zac and Sadie and our neighbor Sarah.  They had a blast in the pool.

The guys wanted to watch a movie late one night and so they turned the volume down and scooted close so they could hear it.  I just thought it was funny.

At home depot.  They were yelling "hi grandpa" every minute.  And they loved it.
Grandma was pretty good at keeping them entertained.  And I love the shopping carts at Home Depot.  The kids do too!

Anyway, we loved having them here.  Thanks for all the hard work!  Next post will show the shed how it is today.
