Grandpa with Emery.
Luckily on the day that the cement was going to be poured, Luke and Duncan had come down too...so they were a huge help with that! Thanks guys! And the kids loved having them around too!
Rob and his dad making the last preparations for the cement to be poured.
The cement truck. The kids were in heaven with this huge truck in our backyard!
Then I went to sit down so I could watch the cement be poured and this is what happened. Ha ha. I was holding Emery and I completely broke the chair and fell all the way down. Luckily Emery wasn't hurt, and neither was I. I guess I need to start going to Zumba more often! ha ha
Luke was a huge help...he was telling everyone how to do things because he had done this before.
All the boys were sweating...and we were eating otter pops!
Yum
It took a few hours for the job to get done...so we were inside and outside and back inside. Then we got smart and turned on the slip and slide.
Cute kids.
We were having fun while the guys worked hard in the background.
The finished product. It turned out really good...despite the fact that we didn't order enough cement to begin with and so they had to send another truck while the guys tried to keep the cement that was already down wet so it didn't harden too much.
Everyone was pooped. But they were still pleasant to be around after they had taken showers!
Grandma with Zac and Sadie and our neighbor Sarah. They had a blast in the pool.
The guys wanted to watch a movie late one night and so they turned the volume down and scooted close so they could hear it. I just thought it was funny.
At home depot. They were yelling "hi grandpa" every minute. And they loved it.
Grandma was pretty good at keeping them entertained. And I love the shopping carts at Home Depot. The kids do too!
Anyway, we loved having them here. Thanks for all the hard work! Next post will show the shed how it is today.
