Emery turned 3!

On December 1, Emery went and turned three on me.  I really can't believe we have had the pleasure of knowing her for three whole years now.  Crazy!  She certainly keeps us on our toes.  She does NOT let me pick out her clothes.  She has been doing that since she was 18 months old.  No joke.  And there was about two months where she would wear purple pants and a purple shirt every day.  I didn't know she had that many purple clothes, but she does apparently.  Ha ha.  SHe has some very strong opinions and can scowl at you like no one else can, but she can also be very sweet and very cute.  Like the time she said "Dad, my heart is beeping with love for baby Riley".  ha ha We love her so much!

Here we are waiting for her to run through her streamers.  We didn't get a good picture of that though.

Here she is opening her first gift.  This is when she discovered that there was a picture of Elsa on the box.  :)

It was a Frozen tent!  She loves it!

We got her some fun balloons too.  I think she liked them.

Luke and Taylor came over to helps us celebrate.  William and Riley hung out and held hands for a while.  :)

Then they did some tummy time.  Riley just kept on staring at him.  He was making high pitched squealing noises and I think she was taking it all in because since then she has been practicing her own high pitched squeals.  ha ha

Emery was a bit dismal that evening.  Here she was while we sang her happy birthday.

And here she is blowing out her candles.

Then she did some tricks with Uncle Luke.

Then in the middle of the night we discovered why she was acting so dismal that evening.  She threw up.  I don't even know why we have that bowl there.  She doesn't know how to "aim" yet.  ha ha.  Fortunately it only lasted about half a day.

Happy birthday Emery!
