Our little Emery isn't so little anymore! She turned 8 on December 1st. She is so beautiful inside and out. She definitely keeps us on our toes with her dramatic nature, but we love having her in our family. She is very creative. She loves to draw, paint, make things out of paper or cardboard. She is always up for a game of Sleeping Queens and she loves staying up late at night. She currently shares a room with Finley and gets her out of her crib in the mornings. Finley loves it. :)
It's really neat because there are 4 other kids in her primary class that also turned 8 in December, so she gets to be baptized with them on Saturday. One of them is her best friend Stella. I think it will be a pretty special day for both of these girls. Stella's mom offered to take these pictures (she's a photographer) for their baptism. Thank you Rosalyn!! I'll post more of those in another post.
Riley loved being right next to Emery while she opened her presents.
She requested a chocolate cake. So that's what she got. She also got to have a birthday party and invite a few friends over. They watched the new Dora movie. I think they all enjoyed it. They definitely enjoyed the treats and popcorn.
These boys were funny because they combined all their snacks so they could share them easily.
We love having Emery in our family and can't wait to see her be baptized a member of the church on Saturday!
