Trip To AZ

On Monday morning, we said goodbye to daddy and the kids and I started our long journey to AZ in the car.

 Bye Dad!

The kids were a dream in the car.  Zac apparantly cried for about 15 minutes while in the truck with Uncle Scott, but other than that there was no crying or screaming.  Which was a huge surprise to me.  But a blessing too.  We got some ice cream at about 9 am at the cheese factory in Beaver (I think)

We got to grandma and grandpa's house and ate pizza for dinner and then pulled out the slip and slide.  These kids played on that thing longer than they ever have at our house.  i think it is because the water here never got cold.  It was pretty warm, so the kids didn't get cold.  It was great.

Then this morning, we walked to the park at about 8 am and it was already super hot outside.  Sadie was riding her bike and said "it sure is hot here in AZ"  ha ha.  Funny.  Then we hit up a splash pad by my parent's house.  It was really fun.  Then we came home and took naps and Sadie and I went on a little date while Grandma watched the other two kids.  it was fun. Then after dinner we went to another splash pad that the kids loved as well and then got some yummy ice cream.  It was a great day.

At the splash pad after dinner.

At the first splash pad.  There were lots of fun fixtures and stuff.

 Even Emery loved it.

Ice cream is always the perfect ending to any day!

We had lots of fun today, but we still miss daddy lots and lots.  We love you dad!

Sorry I've been horrible keeping in touch lately! I don't feel so bad since you're in AZ having a blast though. :)
