Visit from family - part 1

We were lucky this year to get a visit from my brother Evan and his wife and kids from Connecticut.  The kids loved having cousins close for a couple weeks.  They spent a lot of time playing, jumping on the trampoline and just enjoying each other's company.  :)

Riley looks huge in this picture next to Ezzy.  Ezra is such a cute little kid.  Sadie especially loved having him around.

Zac and Calvin had an arm wrestling contest.

Calvin won and Emery and Sadie decided to join them.

I don't know what they were watching here, but they sure know how to gather around the computer so everyone can see the screen.

The kids spent a lot of time on the trampoline.  Little Ezzy was so tiny that he would get really bounced around.  Sadie was nice and made sure he was always taken care of.

 Cute Daisy.

These kids had such fun together.

Uncle Scott came for a few days.  He challenged Zac and Calvin to a game of Chess.  He didn't take it easy on them, so he beat them big time.  The boys didn't seem to mind.  They just loved the attention.

One day I decided to be a fun mom and take the kids to the splash pad.  Of course it had to be cloudy and breezy once we got there.  Which of course I was enjoying from the sidelines, but the kids thought it was too cold.  SO the trip lasted about 30 minutes.  ha ha

They tried to get their sour cream containers to fly in the air by putting them on the water shooters.

They got it to work a couple times.

Riley and Daisy got along pretty well.  Such cute girls.

 Paper airplane throwing contest.

Uncle Evan helped them all fold a paper airplane.

Surprisingly they all flew pretty far.

This is funny...Rob wanted to throw Zac's paper airplane.  Zac said "don't get it stuck up there dad!"  Rob said "I won't!  I'm aiming for the hallway."  Well, it got stuck up there.  ha ha.  Fortunately, Zac was able to reach it by standing on Rob's shoulders so they didn't have to get the ladder out.

The trampoline is always more fun when water and water balloons are involved.
