We got back and ate lunch just in time for grandma and grandpa to pull their red truck in. The kids and I were waiting for them outside.
We didn't waste much time when they got here. They brought some "water weenies" for the kids to have a water war. I didn't join in, but I definitely watched from the deck and was laughing the whole time. :) I'll add some videos at the end of the post of the action.
This was the filling station. They would fill up their plastic tubing and then run around and squirt it at each other. So entertaining to watch.
The kids had so much fun doing this. Ezra was so fun to watch because he would have his tube filled up and then just drag it on the ground while letting it squirt at whoever was nearby. Ha ha. Such a fun activity...especially for a hot day!
Grandma playing duplos with the cousins.
The next morning, we loaded everyone up and went to great grandma and great grandpa's house. They got us some yummy pizza for lunch and donuts for dessert. Yum. Thank you!
All the kids with great grandma and great grandpa. Good looking bunch!
Grandma taught these two the "Here is the church...here is the steeple" rhyme. It kept them busy for quite a while.
Then we broke out Dr. Mario. The kids enjoyed it I think. Especially Zac and Calvin.
After we were done playing nintendo...we stopped by a splash pad on the way home. It was a fun one! There was a huge bucket that would fill up and dump on the kids. Riley still talks about the bucket dumping on her.
We had lots of fun at the splash pad and then we packed up and headed home. :) I didn't take very many pictures because it was hot and I didn't feel like walking around in the sun. I stayed sitting in the shade. :)
