Oregon- Wednesday

These pictures are not in order, but this is what we did on Wednesday.  We started the morning off by doing some work in grandpa's garden.  We pulled weeds and trimmed back the blackberry bushes and took the nets off of the blueberries.  After lunch we drove up to see some ice caves.  We basically walked up the side of a steep mountain (not too far) and there were some caves that were letting cold air out of them.  It felt so nice to stand in front of them!   It was like air conditioning.

Then we drove over to a river and let the kids swim and play for a while.  It was lots of fun.  Then in the evening, Andrew was called away to a fire and had to pack up and get ready to go.  We hurried and got a picture of all the brothers together before he left.

Aren't they handsome??

It was impossible to keep the rocks out of Riley's mouth while we were at the river.  I don't think she ended up swallowing any though.  :)

All the kids.  We didn't bring our swimming suits so the kids just went swimming in their clothes.  They didn't seem to mind.  ha ha.

This was at the ice caves.  Ben took some of the older kids up higher to see if there were any more cave up there.  Rob joined them and said it was fun to explore a little bit.

We all just kind of stood around taking turns in front of the cold air.  ha ha.

Then we stopped at this pipe thing that had natural water coming out of it.  Everyone filled their water bottles and got a drink.  In this picture Zac is taking his turn.

 At the river.
Grandma and Grandpa showed up at the river.  It was fun to have them there.

This was at the bottom of the ice caves.  They all found a treasure.  Zac, Rob and Emery found pinecones, and Sadie found a huge stick.

This is everyone working in the garden.  It was hard with Riley so Rob got a game going for the kids who were tired of working.

I thought it was cute seeing them all sitting there together playing cards.  Thanks Rob!

Brent and Emery took a moment to have a boxing match.  Their hands are bigger than their whole bodies almost!  Ha!
